Total Qualification Time (TQT) is a term used within qualifications regulated by Ofqual as part of the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF). It aims to provide learners with an indication of the minimum length of time it would take the average learner to complete their qualification.
Guided Learning Hours (GLHs) is the time a learner is being taught, instructed or participating in education or training under guidance or supervision of a tutor, lecturer etc. (this can also include assessment time).
Please note that the actual time taken by the learner will vary and will depend on the individual effort and hard-work of the learner.
All our courses are self-paced. Learners progress at their own speed.
Each course has defined credits that should be earned for successful course completion. For course credits, please refer to the website page of the desired course.
Course material is provided on our VLE. It is up to the learners to decide whether they want to buy additional study material.
Absolutely, however, BSA recommends that you undertake one course at a time. If you wish to take more courses simultaneously, we offer Course Bundles that might be of interest to you.
For further questions on this, please feel free to contact your tutor or BSA support team.
If we are unable to deliver a course, we will fully refund your fee with an apology. However, if you decide to change your mind after starting a course, you will be eligible for a refund if a request is made within 14 calendar days from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded, and you haven’t accessed the course on Moodle. Please visit our “Refund Policy” for more information.
We accept all types of debit and credit cards. If you are facing issues related to payment methods, contact our support team at [email protected].
Your credit/debit card details are secured through SSL and TLS. Your data is shared in encrypted form, so it is useless for third parties. For your peace of mind, we take payments through PayPal and Stripe rather than using systems set up internally. PayPal and Stripe are global and well-reputed brands; hence your card details would be handled securely
We offer flexible instalment plans for the learners who are unable to pay the fee at once. You can check the instalment plan of your chosen course on the relevant course page. For more information about instalment plans, contact our support team at
For each late fee payment, you will be charged an additional amount of £10 through a reminder email.
No, it is not mandatory for all the courses. However, it might help satisfy the eligibility requirement of some courses if you do not hold the required minimum qualification. So, please do submit experience letters if you have any. Visit the relevant section of the course page for more information.
There is no age restriction. However, some awarding bodies require the learners to be 16 years at minimum for Level 3 and above courses. For more information, please visit the page of your desired course.
COVID-19 is a severe issue, and we are treating it as such. Our staff is working from home to ensure they can stay safe while providing learners with the support they need. In addition, we are working round the clock to ensure no interruptions in learners’ progress.
At BSA, learners don’t have to complete any online group projects. Instead, all assessments are meant to be completed by the individual learners independently.
Online learning allows you to complete the course in your own time and at your own pace. Online learning will enable you to manage a study and work balance. The cost of our online courses is less compared to the same courses studied on campus. The ultimate certification you get will be the same regardless of how the learning took place.
The learner will need to have access to a PC or Laptop with a decent internet connection. These requirements are easy to meet, however, you can get in touch with us if you have any concerns.
Yes, employers now realise that a large number of students will choose to do online qualifications instead of face-to-face. And so many employers prefer this option as it shows that the candidates are self-motivated and can work on their own initiative.
BSA recognises that any of our potential students have many options when it comes to choosing their online learning platform. However, at BSA, we feel that all our courses are competitively priced while also providing excellent student support services.
Once you have chosen a course, click “Apply Now” and proceed with the course application. All the steps are self-explanatory, and the entire application process should not take more than 15 minutes unless you are required to attempt an English language proficiency test.
