Yes, we offer a fully online version of the course through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle. In this format, learners have the flexibility to study at their own pace without the need to attend any classes. There are no set start/end/submission dates, and learners can access course materials such as study resources, assignment briefs, guides, templates, and sample portfolios directly on Moodle. Additionally, learners can easily communicate with their tutor/assessor through Moodle, providing a seamless learning experience and support system. Kindly visit Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) for more information

What teaching methods and resources are used in the lesson delivery?

We utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources in our lessons to enhance the learning experience. This includes interactive PowerPoint presentations, carefully curated content from reputable sources, quiz, group discussions, role play and other activities as relevant.

What if I miss any session? Can it be rescheduled?

Unfortunately, no. However, you will have the video recording of the session readily available on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) – Moodle.

What equipment do I need to participate in the lessons?

To fully participate in the lessons, learners MUST bring their laptops with chargers, a notepad, and pens or pencils to take notes.

Is there any required coursework or assessments outside of class time?

Yes, learners will need to complete and submit assignments for all three units outside of class time. The class sessions primarily focus on explaining concepts, guiding learners through course content, and facilitating practical requirement of the course i.e., microteach sessions.

How/where do I submit my coursework?

Learners will submit their coursework through our virtual learning environment (VLE) called Moodle for assessment and feedback. Handwritten assignments submitted in class will not be accepted for assessment.

Do I have to submit the coursework in the same week? No, learners are not required to submit their coursework in the same week. After the classes, learners will have a month to submit their three written assignments on Moodle. During this time, our assessors will be available to provide formative feedback for draft work.
How many resubmissions are allowed? Will it affect my grade?

There’s no restriction; you can resubmit assignments as many times as needed until you achieve a Pass grade. Moodle (VLE) allows for an unlimited number of submissions, so the number of submissions does not affect your course in any way.

What if I am unable to submit the assignments within a month?

After the one month duration expires, you will need to re-register by paying a small re-registration fee of £399. This is to cover the additional cost we incur, such as VLE and tutor/assessor fees.

Can I progress through the units at my own pace, or are there set deadlines for each unit?

Yes, learners can progress through the units at their own pace. There are no set deadlines for each unit, and learners can submit their assignments in any order. However, all coursework must be completed within one month after the classes.

Is there any way of delivering micro-teach session other than in front of whole class?

Yes, for learners who are not comfortable or prepared in time to deliver their micro-teach session in front of the whole class, we can accommodate them later in online Zoom sessions. Please discuss this with your course tutor.

Is financial aid available for tuition?

Currently, we do not offer financial aid for tuition. However, we strive to keep our prices competitive and affordable, ensuring that our courses remain accessible to all learners.

Do you offer instalment plan for course fee?

Yes, we offer an instalment plan for the course fee. Payments are divided into three instalments:

  • 33% at the time of booking,
  • 33% before the first session, and
  • 34% upon course completion, but before certification.
