The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF), also known as the level 4 IQA replaces the V1 course and is considered the industry standard qualification for becoming an IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) in the FE and HE sector. The training centres will expect you to have this V1 qualification if you are to take up an IQA position. You are not required to have any prior qualifications or experience to start this course. This Level 4 TAQA qualification will enable you to monitor the work of assessors within organisation. For unit 2 of this IQA course, Trainee IQA must have access to two assessors assessing two vocational learners each, whose work can be sampled and verified.
Most of the tasks would be attempted through essay style written accounts and reflections of your own IQA practices.
